Neubauer Fellowship Cohort 9 Completes 2026 Fall Institute
In October, Members of the Philadelphia Academy of School Leaders’ Neubauer Fellowship Cohort 9 gathered for our two-day 2026 Fall Institute. The institute focused on three priorities central to school leadership: strengthening classroom instruction, building effective school teams, and coaching educators to grow professionally.
Over the two days, Fellows worked with a slate of guest facilitators drawn from district leadership and the education consulting field:
- Dr. Jaime Aquino, Superintendent Emeritus of the San Antonio Independent School District
- Dr. Shanesia Davis, Founder and CEO of U & ME Consulting LLC
- Dr. Nadia A. Bennett, Founder and CEO of When Brown Girls Lead™
Sessions emphasized practical application. Fellows left with concrete strategies for supporting teachers and strengthening leadership within their schools. They also worked with their PASL coaches to plan their own professional growth for the year ahead.
The Fall Institute is part of the Neubauer Fellowship’s ongoing program of leadership development for Philadelphia principals, pairing intensive learning sessions with individualized coaching.
