ED.D. IN EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP INFORMATION SESSION
Lead the Future of Education: Join the Ed.D. in Executive Leadership at Teachers College, Columbia University
Philadelphia-area educators and school leaders — is it time to take your leadership to the doctoral level? Teachers College, Columbia University’s online Ed.D. in Executive Leadership prepares experienced professionals to navigate complexity and drive strategic change, all while continuing to work full-time.
The program’s Global and Independent Education Leadership pathway, rooted in the Klingenstein Center’s nearly 50-year legacy of leadership development, is designed for leaders in K-12 schools, education organizations, and mission-driven institutions who want to deepen their practice with a blend of strategic thinking, ethics and equity, neuroscience, and the humanities. It’s built for heads of school, principals and assistant principals, directors of teaching and learning, deans, department chairs, educational entrepreneurs, non-profit leaders, and other leaders ready to research and shape what comes next for their schools and communities.
Delivered through a three-year cohort model with required in-person immersives, the program combines a rigorous shared leadership core with pathway-specific coursework, culminating in an applied dissertation tied directly to your work.
